Sajeetha Kannan, Founder of microbiaX, presented how microbial behaviours, strategies and intelligence can be translated into design principles for engineering and intelligent systems. The talk showed that biomimicry need not start from the visible shape of an organism: how microbes sense, adapt, organise and process information can itself become a transferable engineering principle.
